Indian Test Cricket Vice-Captain Ajinkya Rahane has put forward his thoughts upon his selection for the upcoming World Cup. Having played his last ODI innings in February 2018, Ajinkya feels that his average of 41.38 deserves more chances to be in the team.
With Indian chief selector MSK Prasad citing that Rahane is still in the scheme of things, Rahane himself feels happy that he is being considered but also feels that a person being considered deserves more chances to play for the country.
It has been an year since Rahane was seen playing an ODI for India and the chances do look bleak for his entry into the Indian World Cup squad. Will the Vice-Captain be considered at all?
