Exclusive: K.G.F’s Baddie Turns Pan-Indian

India has seen many actors being part of films in a certain language. We see the top actors playing to the galleries and winning accolades in their own language and region. But, if we come across actors playing negative shades or you can even say actors playing character roles, they have more opportunities to be seen in films with regards to different languages.

Not all actors get an opportunity to be seen onscreen allover India, on the same day and at the same time, barring some biggies like Bahubali, 2.0, etc. But, there seems to be this one actor named John Kokken, who is all set to be featured in this special list.

Kannada film K.G.F has turned out to be one of the much-awaited films this year-end. K.G.F (Kolar Gold Fields): Chapter 1 has been shot with a budget of around 80 crores with Kannada superstar Yash in the lead role.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, K.G.F has garnered huge buzz, thanks to its trailer and content. The film reminds one of the old era films such as Kaala Patthar, which was so raw and realistic.

Vaarahi Chalana Chithram, the banner behind SS Rajamouli’s superhit film Eega has taken over the duties as its Telugu producers/presenters while Farhan Akhtar and his partner producer Ritesh Sidhwani have taken the mantle to present the film in Bollywood under their banner Excel Entertainment.

This is indeed a big news! Many top celebrities are tweeting about K.G.F and the buzz is only going to rise in the coming weeks.

Actor John Kokken is a part of this film in a negative role. John has played a baddie in many Telugu films and opposite many superstars. He has been part of films like Teen Maar, 1 Nenokkadine, Janatha Garage, Raja the Great, Sardar Gabbar Singh, and many others.

John’s first look posters are out, and we must say, they are menacing to the core! What’s exciting to note is that, K.G.F will be releasing in five languages (Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi) worldwide on the same day. It is also being learnt that the film may also release in Chinese and Japanese.

He has found himself to be a part of this unique experience of turning a Pan India actor with a single film. John Kokken is currently shooting for a big budget Bollywood flick which has some big names involved in it. According to sources, he shall be playing an important part in the Bollywood film whose details are strictly under wraps.

We all know how Bahubali made Prabhas a darling world over. Will K.G.F make Yash, John Kokken and the other cast and crew become familiar beings all over? With all the buzz and support coming from big corners of the film industry, it surely looks like a green signal! 🙂
