Actress Kangana Ranaut conveyed to the media that she is extremely proud of her upcoming film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The movie is directed by Tollywood’s Krish Jagarlamudi but it got into conflicts due to various reasons recently. This is Krish Jagarlamudi’s second film in Bollywood, his first being Gabbar is Back with Akshay Kumar.
Krish Jagarlamudi’s final portions of direction weren’t complete as he got busy with NTR biopic, thus Kangana Ranaut herself take the onus to direct the film. Actor Sonu Sood too left the project as he wasn’t sure if his role would be the same after the direction team swapped hands.
Everything said and done, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is scheduled to release on 25th January 2019. All efforts are being made to complete the post production and start the promotions. Kangana Ranaut said “The film has come out beautifully and all the Indians would be proud of the film. Jhansi wasn’t only a brave warrior queen but was also a wonderful human being with powerful thinking and grit”.
