Bollywood’s Pelli Choopulu Goes Unnoticed

Tollywood’s 2016 hit film Pelli Choopulu won rave reviews from all corners. The film made Vijay Devarakonda a household name and also won itself a National Award. Initially, the film’s Hindi remake was ought to star Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma as the lead but the news died down eventually.

Actor Jacky Bhagnani’s film journey started moderately with F.A.L.T.U. which fared averagely but his next set of releases bit the dust. His latest film Mitron starring television actress Kritika Kamra opposite him garnered good buzz, thanks to it’s music. Filmistaan’s director Nitin Kakkar has directed Mitron. The fact that this film is an adaptation of Pelli Choopulu  isn’t known to many!

Mitron has started on a very dull note and it is evident that lack of publicity has hindered it’s prospects. The reviews aren’t encouraging too and has given yet another flop to Jacky Bhagnani. Pelli Choopulu’s Telugu success seems to be a far reach for it’s Hindi version. Did you gulp this news up, Mitron?
