Blab With Sandy: Anisha Victor

Blab With Sandy: Anisha Victor

Hello Folks! In this week’s “Blab with Sandy” we have model and actress Anisha Victor with us. She made her on-screen debut with The House Next Door/ Gruham/Aval, and has featured in advertisements like Fastrack Reflex, Engage ON and others. She was recently seen in the mini series What’s Your Status. Let’s dive into the blab I had with her:

Sandy: Hello Anisha!

Anisha: Hi Sandy 🙂

Sandy: You debuted with the trilingual flick Gruham/ Aval/ The House Next Door and it received rave reviews. Not everyone gets a chance to debut in three languages in one go. 🙂 Few anecdotes upon the film and your role.

Anisha: Yes, I’ve been blessed to have debuted in three languages.  Working with Siddharth and Atul Sir was a very enriching experience. Got to learn a lot from them and Milind Rau.

I really liked my team. From the cinematographer to the ADs to the make-up and costume team, it was a delight being around them.

Sandy: Could you let us know about your background?

Anisha: I come from an army background. My dad is colonel in the Indian Army and is currently posted in Ahmedabad and my mum is a housewife. I have two younger sisters.

I graduated from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting.

Sandy: Can you share your working experience with director Milind Rau?

Anisha: Milind Sir really helped me in understanding the character and since I don’t speak Tamil. He would sit with me and helped me out with that too. He would give me references and was quite patient with me.

Sandy: A few words about Siddharth and Andrea Jeremiah.

Anisha: They’re really nice people. Siddharth is very intuitive and his inputs helped me play Jenny. Andrea is very sweet. She’d get us her mum’s baked goodies. You’ll never be hungry around her. Hahaha!

Sandy: How was it working and sharing screen space with a seasoned actor like Atul Kulkarni?

Anisha: Oh, it was fantastic. He’s a two-time national award winner, a superb actor and a better human being. I felt very positive around him. A humble person and an amazing teacher.

Anisha: Hahaha I guess the timing was right. I work hard and get lucky sometimes. 🙂

Sandy:  What’s in the pipeline for Anisha Victor in the coming months?

It’s a fun mini-series about relationships. Please do give it a watch on “Cheers” channel on YouTube. Then there are few projects in the pipeline. Fingers crossed ha-ha!
